3 step guide to transfer securities to another Demat A/c using Easiest

An investor can move from one broker to another for various reasons like the services offered, ease of doing transactions, brokerage or inheriting securities from parents. One can transfer existing holdings to the new demat account by following the below process.
Step 1 :- Registration Process on Easiest:
Open the link to start registration –

Here’s your checklist to navigate and fill all the details –
- Enter your DP and Client ID. Read and agree to terms and conditions. Enter the OTP
- You will be asked for your BO ID which is a combination of your DP ID + Client ID
- In ‘trusted details’ add the details of the account in which you want to transfer your securities. (You can do this later by clicking on ‘Miscellaneous’ -> ‘Edit Trusted Account’)
- Grouping is a facility provided by CDSL wherein a BO can aggregate to view additional Demat accounts under a single 'easiest' login.
- Now you will be able to log in through your username and password created for easiest

Step 2 :- Add CDSL as a beneficiary in your bank account using the following details:
Step 3 :- Transfer Process
- Once the trusted account is added click on ‘transaction’ -> ‘Setup’. Select ‘Bulk Setup’.
Kindly verify the Execution Date
- Select ‘Transaction’ and enter the execution date and select the BO ID of the account in which you want to make your transfer. Enter the ISIN details, quantity you want to transfer and the reason for transaction. Thereafter, please click on the green colour (+) button.
- When adding the ISIN, please ensure that you are selecting the security which is already existing in your demat account.
- Add ISIN that you wish to transfer
- Enter Quantity (No of Units)
- Consideration Amount
- Reason for Trade
- Remarks
- Payment Mode (Add Cheque, Cash, E-Banking Details)
Select the transaction and Click on ‘commit’.
- Enter the transaction PIN which is an 8-digit pin you must have received on your registered email ID at the time of registration.
- After your transaction is submitted it will be authenticated by your DP post which you will receive a link which you need to verify. Voila!! Your transaction will be complete.
